Located in Burlington Flats, NY, we are a small family run, trusted NYS licensed breeder/kennel.  We base our business out of our home, which allows us to provide the best environment and conditions to care for our loved animals. 

 

Mayne Haven Kennels specializes in Vizslas, Labrador Retrievers, Beagles, Shih Tzus, and German Shepherds. Our goal is to provide puppies with excellent intelligence, temperament, personality, and conformation to every home we serve. We have traveled many states to carefully select the perfect breeding pairs. We take pride in producing only healthy, happy, show, hunting, and pet quality puppies.  They are well socialized with other dogs of all sizes, ages, and sex, and also with cats and children.  Our 16x24 whelping room in our home allows puppies’ easy access to interact with our entire family once they are old enough.

 

Before our puppies leave for their new homes, our veterinarian inspects health, and provides an interstate health certificate for traveling out of state. Each puppy is vaccinated and de-wormed according to age recommendations and may be eligible for a micro-chipping (additional cost may be required), and goes home with a N.Y.S. health guarantee, registration papers, veterinarian records, and puppy kit that includes starter food, a new collar, and treats.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mayne Haven Kennels is licensed and inspected by the NYS Department of Agriculture, and also is annually inspected by our attending veterinarian, and we are AKC inspected as well. We take pride in not only our animals but the home we provide to our animal family as well.  We encourage deposits to secure puppies, which we make a final decision, onto whether or not they are suitable for specific homes. Once we make an agreement, we do require at least the pick-up in person, as we do not offer shipping on puppies (this keeps them safe!), We also do not allow for the puppies to be picked up by any type of transporter. We have placed puppies in homes throughout the eastern US including CT, MA, ME, MI, NH, NY, NJ, MD, PA, RI, WV, VA, NC, VT,, AK, OH, FL, and have had multiple repeat customers!

 

We have been breeding for over a Two decades here in our home, and have experience from being born and raised into the breeding lifestyle, and strive to teach the same love of animals to our children. We have worked with several vets in our area, and have a great rapport with not only several local vets, but also local shelters, rescues, and DCOs.
